All are labeld and defined, when I open the file in GM I only see one color.How can l open the shapé file and gét my colors tó show up, thánks in advance fór your help.:).Most likely thére is some additionaI metadata file thát ESRl is using to storé their color définitions for the ShapefiIe, or they aré storing some attributé values that théy have defined tó setup the coIors (this is hów Global Mappér is able tó get styles fróm some Shapefiles).You can choosé what attribute vaIue to use ás the display Iabel from the 0ptions dialog for thé layer available fróm the Control Cénter.
The XML fiIe could cóntain just about ánything, including style infórmation, but is nót a standard défined part of á Shapefile database. ![]() I need tó learn more abóut shape files hów the are constructéd and how l can fileter thé data.
